Heliatek wins Global Innovation Award 2020

Heliatek is deeply honored and proud to win the 2020 Global Innovation Award created by the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and the online video platform GloballyGreat. The initiative was aiming to find the outstanding sustainable innovations that could be applied in the Middle East. Companies had the opportunity to apply for the award on the innovative video platform focused on sustainability launched by GloballyGreat. Heliatek won the award against strong competitors for our organic solar films that can help transforming virtually any building into a clean energy generator. The award was handed over to Guido van Tartwijk (Heliatek CEO) during Abu Dhabi Sustainable Week 2020, who said during the ceremony: “We are deeply honored to win the Global Innovation Award 2020 initiated by the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment. With Heliatek’s innovative organic solar films we provide a perfect solution to energize buildings with a clean energy generation technology. This will help to achieve the UAE 2021 vision of sustainable environment and infrastructure.“
